Breaking News! On December 7th, 2020, Deb Browning announced on FaceBook Live that she has written and recorded a Christmas Parody. Deb plans to debut the song here on her website at 8:00 PM EST on December 7th. “Here Comes Amazon” is written to the tune of “Here Comes Santa Claus,” by Gene Autry. “It’s a funny song – I wanted to bring some cheer and laughter into what has been a difficult year for our world. I think everyone will love it!”
Deb would like to thank her back-up vocalists for adding an extra layer of FUN to her song. In addition to Gary Lowder, Deb’s husband, Bob, and her neighbors, Carol Newton and Derek and Karen Risley provided the background vocals. “It was totally unrehearsed and off the cuff – and they are HYSTERICAL! We did it in “one take!”
Deb added, “I wrote the song two years ago and just spur of the moment decided the timing was right to record it. I’m truly glad I didn’t release it two years ago because I added an extra verse about the pandemic and it’s my favorite verse.”
